Saturday 8 December saw a good crowd in attendance for a concert of festive brass band music by Glastonbury Brass—the first such event in the events programme offered by the Village Hall Social Committee. The prize-winning band performed a well-chosen diet of seasonal tunes, and the audience enjoyed mince pies and mulled wine in the interval. The audience was extremely impressed by the quality of the performance, many indicating that they would gladly come again on some future occasion.
For those who missed the event, or those who simply wish to relive a part of it, you may wish to play the recordings. These are available as fairly hefty MP4 (sound and video) Dropbox downloads: [750MB] and [300MB], or they can be viewed online following the same links.
