The Hearing Loop. Four speakers, two radio microphones, two fixed microphones and a control box were installed in time for the Flower Festival. The loop was dedicated at Harvest Evensong and relatives of those who had left legacies were invited to attend the dedication.

Music plays an important part in the life of our church and the PCC wishes to thank Mandy Rowley for the music that enriches our services, the children's band and organising the Carol concert and special Easter anthems. The PCC is grateful to Steve Loveridge, Kath Staple and Pete Nichols for playing the organ - it is very rare for a service to be unaccompanied by music. Music stands for the children were provided as a memorial to Ken Loveridge. The PCC has applied for a faculty for a permanent memorial to be placed in the church as a public record of Ken's outstanding service to the church for over 60 years.

People. Sadly, we said "Goodbye" to Bethan Guttridge at Easter. We gained a new Verger - Dave Elliott has agreed to assist at weddings and funerals. The PCC was also happy to propose Tim Luxton to the Archdeanory Sub Warden for the ministry of Lay Reader. His training commenced in September.
