Following a medical emergency at an event in the village a few months ago, the PC agreed to organise first aid classes in the village. The aim is that at least one person in every village organisation should be familiar with basic first aid, and as many individuals as feel it would be valuable for them and for those around them.
The class will be held in the Village Hall by trainers from St John Ambulance, on the evening of
Tuesday 16 January, from 6 till 9:30pm.
About 12 of the 15 available spaces are taken. Attendance would be free for individuals, but we are inviting contributions from organisations (to whom priority will be given). If you would be interested, please contact any parish councillor, or email Becky, the parish clerk.
If there is enough demand, we are likely to organise further classes later.
