Following the spate of road closures along Slough Lane, Curload and Meare Green, Highways have announced the following three new closures:
11 Feb: Huntham Lane to be closed for up to 3 days just south-west of Huntham Close for replacement of telegraph poles (details).
19 Feb: Red Hill (between Oath and Curry Rivel) to be closed for up to 7 days for Wessex Water to connect fire mains (details).
24 Feb: Curload to be closed for 3 days at the southern end to replace telegraph poles (details).
We have no information at present about hours of closure, but it seems likely that all routes would be open overnight and at weekends. Highways recommends visiting https://one.network for up to date details or alternative routes.
