St Gregory Players

The present St Gregory Players have been entertaining the village for more than thirty years, following in the footsteps of an earlier group which disbanded. Our programme varies according to the availability of members for the many different tasks involved in mounting a production. In the past we have had a very successful youth drama group directed by the wonderful Liz Brown. They won many drama awards .

We have put on murder mysteries and several quizzes in the village. Our plays tend to be put on annually . Although there heve been some years when we have done two.

At present we have a very enthusiastic  committee and a group of superb helpers. People who not only act but help make sets and  costumes . People who are in charge of sound lighting, back stage, props and front of house and the bar. We are always very grateful for any help and are always on the look out for new blood.
