A series of meetings is being organised by the Somerset Rivers Authority to discuss the means being taken to improve flood resilience in the face of the increasing risks from climate change.
The meetings, open to all, but especially angled towards councillors and flood wardens, are being held as follows:
Tone catchment: West Buckland Village Hall, Mon 14 Sept, 6–8pm
Parrett catchment: Mudford Village Hall, Wed 23 Sept, 6–8pm
Axe/Brue catchment: Bagley Baptist Church, Tues 22 Sept, 6–8pm
