HOTV has just reaped not one but two awards: the BBC Community Group Make a Difference Award for Somerset, and the Somerset County Council Community Resilience Award.
This is a huge feather in the caps of all those who have contributed to the success of this venture over the last several years. HOTV needs all the help it can get at the moment to weather the financial challenges it is facing, so it is a great morale boost to have our achievement recognised twice over as a Somerset beacon. Kudos to Tim Slattery for organising our submissions, and to Tim, Gill and Kathy for going to receive our BBC award.
The Resilience Award includes a splendid hamper of food and drink which can be seen in the shop. This is being raffled to raise funds for HOTV. Raffle tickets may be bought in the shop at £1 each.
