The touching wreath laid by the stone on the Playing Field was hand crafted by Richard Dobson of Lyng Cottage, Meare Green. Richard is our local Poppy Collection co-ordinator.
The Heart of Poppies is made up of poppies crocheted by local people to commemorate 1918-2018. It was displayed across the Playing Field gates for VE Day earlier this year when we were in lockdown.
