It took a long time, but we are here at last. The old website served us well for many years (thanks Alfred!), but we needed something that could be read equally well on devices of all sizes, and that enabled us to hand over the editing of pages to individuals and organisations. While we were at it, we wanted to make it as clear and easy to navigate as possible. We hope you like it, but please let us know if you have any complaints or suggestions for improvement. It is being launched with fairly basic content, but it will be enriched with more illustrations and further content over the coming months.
The website is published by the Parish Council, and built as an apprentice project by Sam Palmer of Teapot Creative in Hambridge. We are very grateful to Teapot for arranging this, and for their help and training during the process. Teapot will continue to maintain it for the foreseeable future, but Nick Sloan and Graham Gleed are primarily responsible for the management of content.
If you are responsible for a village organisation of any sort, and either feel that you are not represented or would like to be able to edit your own page, please get in touch.
