The second wave of the pandemic is affecting Somerset far more than the first. The infection rate here has tripled in the last month. We all need to beware of complacency which may have set in while COVID-19 was a threat mostly affecting other parts of the country.
• Stick to the rules and keep practicing social distancing at all times.
• Assume that everyone you meet may be infected (and possibly symptom-free).
• Isolate and get tested if you feel unwell or have any reason to believe you may be infected.
