Donations from the Stoke St Gregory area for this year’s Poppy Appeal has raised a total of £889 from collection points at the Parish Council, the School, the Village Stores, local pubs, the Lemon Tree Café, the Burrow Munch Café and Stanmoor Garage.
This year has been the first time that people have been given the opportunity to donate using a QR code instead of cash. Unfortunately, we will not know how much was raised in the Parish using this method until sometime next year. It will be very interesting to see how well people have embraced this technology!
