Yesterday’s Sunday Times had an article (below) about the Broughton Community Shop. This was the village from whom we inherited our shop-in-a-box, and Stoke gets a brief mention.
The significant point is that the new Broughton shop has 80 volunteers and is thriving. We are aiming to make the same transition from box to shop, but to do it in Stoke style by moving the shop into the Royal Oak. Let’s get it all up and running as soon as possible.
